People have the choice to do whatever they please but every decision has a consequence: good or bad. People see the Bible as a kill-joy but do not realize that only the Creator of the universe has the proper foresight to share with humanity (His creation) what they should or should not do. The argument is not solely dealing with homosexuality, but also any form of sex that occurs outside of the realm of a married man and woman. Remember the guy in Washington who had sex with the horse? Well, he died because of complications to his 'choice'. What about the kids in these 'polygamist sects'? They are screwed up because of the fact that God said 'one man and one woman'. God frowned upon His servants who thought more than one spouse/hookup was the way to go. We should not wait for science to tell us it's wrong because more people will be dead if they wait for science to show them a truth that existed long before.
I read the article, Neo. No, circumcision isn't the answer. Morality is the answer, along with personal responsibility. Unfortunately, far too many have no religion, no morality, and no nothing of personal responsibility. It's tragic!

ReplyDelete"How dare you tell me that I cannot live a lifestyle that not only hurts me but could aid in bringing mankind into extinction? How dare you infringe upon my right to bring some fatal disease back to my unsuspecting spouse or future partner?"
Enough of that, makes my skin crawl to understand the rationale behind such destructive behaviour.
Using restraint and depending on the lord for guidance has helped my life and not hindered it, and I'm only 27 years old.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people see rules and restrictions as a hindrance, but challenging yourself to follow a righteous path is a reward in and of itself. The challenge alone is worth it.
Praise God for your willingness to follow Him mccainpalin. Trust me, I know it is not an easy task as I do not always get it right. Especially, only being 10 years older. Sadly, the mainstreammedia will not report this. It will get tucked away and this nation will continue to slide
