I have had time to breathe after reviewing the endorsement of Obama by a person I never believed to be conservative, republican or right leaning. While I admire the man for his achievements, I have to say that he was a coward to make his announcement on a liberal show like NBC where he would not be challenged. Powell has always been a rogue agent of the left and now he is solidifying his position in the socialist party that looks like they may win. So, why not get some bonus points for slamming the administration.

There are too many "unknowns" that make Obama too much of a wildcard to understand or trust. The Bible says that "he who does not provide for his family is worse than an unbeliever" 1 Timothy 5:8.

Yet, the Bible does not specifically say exactly how that must be done. It is up to the family how they will function and if the wife can bring in more money and both have agreed for it to be this way, why should anyone disagree with a working model that another family has? I'll tell you why:

Pride!

If God has allowed a family to successfully function where the wife is the major bread winner and the husband either works for less or chooses to take on the nurturer role, I say praise God and let His name be exalted in that situation. Especially, if the man might not be able to secure a position that could cover the family's expenditures.

Now, I do have a bone with men who choose that role and it was not an agreed upon thing and he doesn't care to look for work when the wife is unable to provide.

I will not argue with you that this economic crisis sucks! But the story I am about to share is very sad and to see how it is being spun is the lowest form of drill I have ever seen.

This woman decides to take her life because they wanted to take her home. Very sad! People keep shouting that this is worse than the Great Depression. Well, I tell you it is worse because America is nowhere near the nation it was back then. There was no government enablement assistance back then. Churches and other concerned citizens back then stepped up to the plate. But we've allowed this socialist mentality to permeate our culture and society and incidents like this is only the beginning.

Homes, cars, jobs, are easily replaced, but not a life. I am truly sorry for her loss because I know what she is going through. However, God can restore all things in His time, and offers the eternal security through the death and life of Jesus, and that is the message that Body of Christ needs to convey to this troubled society.

This story is just the beginning folks and more things will be spun to make it seem that complete government intervention instead of prayer and Christian action.

Dating

The Bible does speak on this in that there are two (2) criteria to be met.

1. One (1) man and one (1) woman.
2. Both need to be Christians.

It is clear that the Bible says it is monogamous relationship (when married) between a man and a woman. No polygamy, no incest, no adultery.

For both to be Christians is another factor. If the two (2) cannot be on the same page ideologically, it makes for a very stressful union. Also, it even goes further than just being Christian, but prayerfully both could have the same passion (not identical) for their faith. This is required because a new Christian and an experienced one (1) can be at different stages.

But the venues by which you meet people are off the table. If you met the person in church, at the market, online, in a bar (though that atmosphere may not give you the person you really need) or in the park, that's your liberty. So, if people come out against you if you online date, ask them to show you where in the Bible it says that is a sin. Then ask them how they can answer the number of successful marriages via venues like eHarmony, ChristianCafe, etc. If, the person is honest, they will state that God is sovereign and He blesses each marriage. If, the person is honest, they will state that it's not the venue that determines the success of the marriage but the people in the marriage. Long before online dating, Christians were divorcing at the same rate as the rest of the world.

I pray that whatever venue you choose: church, market, online, park, etc. (I intentionally left out the bar. LOL!), that you will use discernment and spend time getting to know the person before committing to anything serious. And if a Christian comes at you with thus says the Lord, flip them the bird! Just kidding! But let them know that they are speaking from their personal preference and no biblical basis.

Politics

I have made my rantings over the years have not been ashamed to talk about politics and my leaning (Christian Conservative Father who is American). I have shared my likes and dislikes about candidates who run for office. When it comes down to pulling the lever for me, my choice is based upon which candidate (not party) lines up with where I believe the Bible directs me. And all Christians "should" make their decisions according to the same manner.

Ultimately, no one can force another individual to vote or not vote, though I wish the Obamites would stay home, LOL! It is your right, no matter your political affiliation or bent, to vote for the candidate you have chosen (NOBAMA! LOL!). So, when a Christian tries to jam themselves down your throat, let them know that your decision is for you to know and your liberty.

It is understood that one should be motivated to find the individual who is most likely to be lined up with the characteristics of a godly individual. Ultimately, God will have the person of His choice in office. That person could be a person of blessing to the country or a person of judgment. But this does not remove Christians from the responsibility to vote.

Rising like the Phoenix

McCain changes home bailout package.. I am not please with the prospect of the government having to pay for the mistakes of Americans (including me). I think the homes should sit. I think that instead of applying the band-aid to cover the injury, we need to stare at the gaping whole caused by our lack of control. I think that as we get tired of the stench, fall on our knees and confess what we have done wrong, we'll start making the changes and rising out of the ashes like the fabled Phoenix, by God's hand of mercy.

Honored in words and not action

As a Christian, I don't always get it right. I never said I was perfect. But I sometimes wonder how is it that miss what He wants for me? So, I will look at the words of someone who doesn't know how to follow instructions and see if I can draw the parallel (underlines added by me).

...I concur with you that I don't always have to have an answer and that I don't always have to know what's going on. Then again, may be that's the lesson that the Lord wants me to learn. You see, I have a very inquisitive mind that is always "trying" to understand everything and always "seeking" answers. "Be still and know that He is God" you told me. Thank you for your perception and for your Godly counsel.

I"ve been up all night, praying. I have prayerfully written these words to you starting at 3:36 am (I wrote in my notebook). I thank the Lord because although I found the words and the tone difficult to swallow (medicine don't usually taste good anyway and God knows that I needed this to spiritually grow in that area), I realize that you were in fact ministering to me and not using what I wrote against me. The lesson: I don't always have to have an answer and I don't always have to know what's going on.

Once again, thank you for reminding me to "Be still and know that He is God."

"Be still and know that He is God" is Bible folks. And it really works! Using the example of the thing above, you see a lack in wanting to say, "Okay, I got it. Applying now." But, notice that if the principle was understood, sleeplessness would not be an issue.

Within a 24-hour period of time of correspondences, I had to laugh at the following introduction to another message:

In other words, your counsel and compassion were noted, but not accepted. "Then again," and "On the other hand" show that you can drag the mule to feeder... I remember this awesome quote, "A person convinced against their will, is a person unconvinced still!"

Isn't this what we do to God? We try to make something that's not there what we want and expect God to condone it because we either physically or spiritually nodded our heads. Meanwhile, we never grew one bit. We never planned to implement "CHANGE" because we are not going to. We just deluded ourselves into thinking we are something that we are not.

Just like in this political forum, people on both sides of the aisle have to do some serious introspection and evaluate themselves to see are they connecting only with "words and not action." Sadly, after talking with so many unintelligent people, I retract my earlier post about everyone needing to vote. Because too many dimwitted people will go pull the lever for a Obama believing his message of "CHANGE" when he has done nothing but the status quo. I think the ones who can't get a hint only prove that they are the product of inbreeding, something not God authored, just God allowed.

The Have-Nots did it!

In an earlier post, I was talking about the fact that irresponsible Americans need to own up to their end of the financial crisis. Let's look at a few of examples.

Example 1
You are broke and have to borrow money from people because you don't know how to manage your money well. You have a perfectly fine dinette set, but choose to go out and buy a brand new one because you don't like the way the other looks. You don't have a car to get around in and you mooch off of other people to use their cars but refuse to be responsible enough to get your own vehicle. So, using a leech mentality, you drain off society and other individuals who have the common sense to put things in order.

Example 2
You spend money like a sieve. You take more plane flights (w/ hotel reservations and car rentals) in three (3) months time but somehow still cannot manage to buy a decent car.

Example 3
You don't want to spend the proper time at work, and when your boss legitimately chastises you for it because you have had a weak performance for a while. Instead of realizing that you need to get your act in order, you are ready to quit without the common sense of securing a replacement job. Hopefully, welfare will reject you on the basis of your inbred stupidity.

Drains like this on society only need to go down the drain. They're useless and hopefully cannot reproduce and if they have reproduced, "we're doomed!"

People have the choice to do whatever they please but every decision has a consequence: good or bad. People see the Bible as a kill-joy but do not realize that only the Creator of the universe has the proper foresight to share with humanity (His creation) what they should or should not do. The argument is not solely dealing with homosexuality, but also any form of sex that occurs outside of the realm of a married man and woman. Remember the guy in Washington who had sex with the horse? Well, he died because of complications to his 'choice'. What about the kids in these 'polygamist sects'? They are screwed up because of the fact that God said 'one man and one woman'. God frowned upon His servants who thought more than one spouse/hookup was the way to go. We should not wait for science to tell us it's wrong because more people will be dead if they wait for science to show them a truth that existed long before.

The Bushes made me do it!

Does anyone remember the Flip Wilson show? "The devil made me do it!" Well, we're living it now. I believe that the corrupt business officials involved in the financial crisis need to be accountable. But to blame the Bush administration because one could not have the common sense to not make a purchase is completely asinine. Low income/middle income Americans are purchasing items (include myself) that strain our already taxed budgets but it's the fault of someone else because we could not be financially responsible. I have seen to many lower income individuals with big screen televisions, awesome entertainment systems and no more than five (5) books about the home and three (3) of the five (5) were Bibles. If we want the government to cut irresponsible spending (which truly needs to happen), what about the average American? What's good for the gander is good for the goose!

About time! Yesterday, Obama looked like a nerd at a high school prom, no hope. Both guys went over on time, but McCain was smart enough to respect the time better than Obama. AND, he answered the questions! Both used their catch phrases but I laughed at Obama's attempt to clean up the pathetic package he is trying to shove down America's throat. And what was the underlying reason Obama is not qualified? HIS RECORD! It condemns him and he has nothing to offer as to why he has done nothing progressive!!!!!!

There is more to this story

Man kills himself and family. This is real sad, instead of possibly moving to a more affordable area instead of trying to survive in Crazifornia, this man kills his wife, kids, mother-in-law (I can understand that one), and himself because of some kind of financial crisis. Dude, it's not 1929! I think there is more to the story that he may have involved in other illegal activity and that had the rest of his family been alive, the would have suffered more than a gunshot, but that's just my opinion.

Possible Cure for Blindness

The may find the cure for blindness. This is awesome yet I wonder will the be able to reverse the affects on people who have diabetes and undergo losing their vision? Also, think of the wonders that has come into the world because of the technologies made for the blind. I think Braille is on everything and it's the most interesting thing I have seen.

Now, how do they come up with something like this so black people who so willingly support the democratic party can pull their heads out of the sand and really see that they are being used? The democratic party has done nothing for blacks, except enable the lazy ones and perpetuate sub-standard living and thinking in a community that is taking handouts while not seeing the blade that is secretly cutting off the community (Planned Parenthood, welfare, unfit parents, enablement, etc).

I was listening to Dennis Miller yesterday and heard this guy say that the McCain/Palin team were slinging hash because they have nothing else and their real desperate. Interesting, Obama puts out a pseudo-chastisement of the MSM attacking Palin. But, the democrats having slinging hash at everyone, even in their own camp when their were looking for the best candidate. Now, supposedly McCain is tied into the Iran-Contra Affair. Someone call Fox Mulder and Dana Scully because I am sure that the democrats will next say that John McCain sexually assaulted the aliens at Area 51.

Dumb and Dumber

How long does one have to go to get self-esteem for themselves. My stalker has not accepted that their insanity and failure to be truthful will always make them unattractive to me and any other individual who will cross their path. It is really sad because she cannot be consistent and do what she says she would do:
"Today, I finally have the inner strength to completely and truly accept the obvious and move on. I surrender...., I give up...., I am moving on to start the mourning process of the death of our relationship"
Yet in stupidity, she keeps on trying. And worse yet, is her refusal to move on in that it will affect her daughter who needs help from such an unstable individual. And she continues to put her efforts in bothering me, that she keeps up with her negligent behaviour as a parent. It's a crying shame!

Come on, getRight. Why don't you actually show your real name? Is it possible because it's you Ms. Cadet? Is it possible because you are too scared to post your real identity and have proven my correct that you are not mature enough to move on?

New Eras

My encounter with a stalker had many pros & cons.

Pro	Con
I learned more about the laws of stalking and what the courts can do to protect you.	I learned more about the laws of stalking and what the courts can do to protect you. Our justice system needs a major overhaul.
Changes have to be made on the people I allow in my inner circle which will call for greater discernment.	Sometimes, innocent friends may be lost because of new protocols and policies that need to be followed.
Not all change is bad	Making severe changes can hurt, sometimes the effect is delayed.
It pays to save all electronic paper trails.	All your saved information requires space.

All in all, I believe the modifications made were for the best. I almost feel like a new man and a new life is ahead of me. It is really funny because when I tried to envision a future (as friends or more with the stalker), the future was really dark and I did not see a desirable life. But thank God in His mercies that that road has been torn up!
