I alluded to this a little on yesterday's post but want to go in a little deeper today. The biggest lie we bought into was that man has evolved from apes. To those geniuses who espouse such a farce, why are there apes still here? If we have evolved, then who was left behind? Also, if all that is a product of random chance, why is everything else ordered (seasons, days, comets passing, eclipses)? There are a million other questions that could be asked but I will take you the most logical and most realistic is that God created! So, why are people so determined to prove that God did not create? One word people: Accountability!
We in our sinful and selfish natures want complete autonomy. We want to do what we wish without consequence and God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and His word is in the way. Laws bind, not free. Laws prevent me from willingly harming my neighbor. If there is no God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit or Bible; then adulterer, fornication, incest, bestiality, homosexuality, lying, stealing, raping and murdering can go unchecked because NO ONE can challenge us. However, the sad reality is that those who reject God have failed to fully live out their lives. Because if they truly believe that there is no God to create, then there is no law to enforce or abide by and if they are driving the speed limit, then they are violating their own conscience.
I pray that today, the Lord will help every person to realize that our lives will end and when it does, we better have the Only Hope for mankind, Jesus Christ as our doorway into Heaven.
