Not living up to ones potential

Some time ago, I inherited a troubled individual who loves commenting though offers no true comment to say, wow that was profound: Kinderling. This blogger speaks in circles and offers nothing really constructive. This blogger seems to be against everything, but himself/or herself. To be consistent, a blog here and there as to how they themselves could be wrong would be more consistent to the blury worldview and shaken presuppositions they stand on.

To borrow a quaint phrase from Francis Schaeffer, Kinderling "stands firm with his fleet planted in midair!"

    Morphius,
Welcome. You have got me. Nothing has it. I have nothing give you you don't already have.

What you do today and tomorrow is your choice. Societies have live and gone not believing anything of your Holy Man.
I can call the Jesus described in the 100+ gospels, a friend if I met him, just like I can call Socrates or anyone else who pushes me back onto myself and not to be a homocognive. (New word, just made up to describe an unhealthy attachment to a person you don't know but would like think and act like. To submit for a sense Heaven). The church of Nicea made you believe in life after death. Jesus did not teach this. He taught you to not worry about such things.
The Be-Attitudes Luke 6:20 are his encapsulation of finding your own consciousness to be like his.
"Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of god"
Well, he's being telling you all the time the 'poor in spirit' children (uneducated, unread) can see it, so your scaring them as being Expelled from the Garden of Eden is the most evil thing you have ever done. They are already there. No baptism, no saving blood, no redemption. That was added by Emperor Constantine for control of your mind. Now you are a clone of the church which in the control of the State.
"Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you will be filled"
So go and seek the truth and you will find it and it will fill you. It doesn't mean sitting in a mud pile praising God and all good things will now happen for you.
"Blessed are you who weep now,
    for you will laugh." Absolutely.
Finding the truth is painful, for you are letting go of your secret treasures, your warm-glow protection of Salvation, and it will hurt. You are responsible. And you want to avoid the cut of the knife of truth and be clothed in blood when Jesus says "I do not know you". But let it cut you must, to have nothing, to be poor, empty, and you will laugh freely. Guaranteed.
"Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, revile you, and defame you on account of the Son of Man"
Yes, when you teach his way to consciousness, of letting go, they will hate you. You will know why and forgive them for they cannot let go the riches they hold onto.
"But woe to you who are rich,
for you have received your consolation".
    Well, they aren't listening.

And I can't reply to your "look what I've built, look what I've built" because it is not yours to build. I'm looking at you.

Perfect timimg, much faster than I anticipated. Jesus does talk about life after death! Read the book!

Kinderling, when you are done spouting from ignorance, I encourage you to spend time reading the four (4) gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). These are the ones the record the truth. The others out there like the Gospel of Thomas & Gospel of Jude are farces because they meet the criteria of fanciful literature and were put together at least 130 years away from the actual events. There's myth and legend in these other Gospels.

Yet, in the Bible completed in AD95-100, there is no contradiction. Also, there is no active extra-biblical texts that contradict these events. Actually, you will find more extra-biblical text that support the events recorded in the Gospels and New Testament texts. But, your pride will not allow you to accept this reality. For your reality cannot yield common sense because it would mean that the life you live is self-contradictory.

The Bible talks about the relationship that God wants to have with us. It shows how He loves us and sets rules to help us live more fulfilling lives. Yet, people like you reject these valuable truths because you do not want to be accountable to anyone. You want autonomy but do not live according to the rules of your warped presuppositions.

Were you truly living according to your multiple principles, then you would not yield to the laws of any land save the laws you have constructed for yourself. For you, there should be no speed limit. For you there should be no woman, man or beast that you could not do as you wish (physically, sexually, emotionally, etc.). However, you do not live as such because you know that there are consequences to such a lifestyle that was not reeled in by the constraints of moral laws and ethics.

Is this not what is also added in the relationship God offers us? And all you can do is slam a system that should stave society at large from mass atrocities. While the system is perfect, the people are not. I will not go into the littany of examples where the people failed to put into practice the principles that could make the world more amiable. But, you cannot knock the system because everyone does not practice the perfect system.

That's like saying we'll take down the 25mph speed limit in school zones because everyone doesn't obey it. Hogwash! For in so doing, the only inevitable outcome would be complete chaos. Christianity is the answer to counter complete-chaos throughout the world; however you want autonomy.

Killed anyone lately? Raped anyone lately? Robbed a bank lately?Because the mystical life you seek is the life that inevitably says that a world without rules is the perfect world. How interesting from the one who projects from concepts (rules) of Right-Brain and Left-Brain. You are so blind by your own arrogance that you cannot see that you are condemned by your very own words.

  4. I missed his blog at his profile.

    Uhh.

He's not completely wrong but he/she needs to learn a bit more and not pick and choose which Bible verses are true and which aren't.

    Morphius,

"whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven". You are free, and yes, there should be no speed limits, but then Laws are for those without self-control to protect the innocent. They are for the Law-Breakers. Not you.
Please welcome discussion, for it sharpens your wit and mine.
I only offered you a clearer history of how your infallible book came into human hands, that you might see Jesus as a philosopher and not the Pagan Sun-God you worship.
His teachings stand and I hope go on forever. The reason we have a Judao-Christian society is brave people put his words into the hands of the common man. Or else I would be praising Mother Mary, baby Jesus and the Saints and curse those who will die in Eternal Damnation.
I seek the real Jesus as I have sought the real you.
    We'll meet again.

  6. Well, at least you're getting some readership, Morpheus, and Kinderling's getting an outlet.

Keep the debate going, and you'll both perhaps learn a bit.

Attention to those who have nothing to offer other than mindless drill or just want to harass me: DROP DEAD!

To the others whom I have enjoyed over the years, don't waste you breath on those morons. We have better things to do like contributing to society in a positive way.
